Today's Gardening Tips
Summer sun means some plants will dry out quickly. Water slowly and really soak the soil around newly planted trees and shrubs. One way to do this is to set the hose at the base of the plant but only have the water as a slow trickle. Allow it to run for an hour or so the soil becomes moist all the way down to the new roots.
