I use the Flower and Vegetable Osmocote because it is a quality balanced NPK. However, the greenhouse I work for was out of that particular product so instead of switching to another brand, I purchased the Outdoor and Indoor Osmocote. I used it on my house plants and they responding immediately like they were suddenly awaken from a long sleep! So then I applied it to some of my garden plants that like more nitrogen and wow. Love it! Love the convenience. will always have both products in my shed.

A container garden must have! March 28, 2017
Since I have started using Osmocote in my container gardens, my flowers stay looking incredible all season. The fertilizer gives them the long term boost they need to remain fresh and flowering all summer. I add Osmocote to the planting holes and then sprinkle a little on top of the soil around the plants. It cannot get any easier than that! I also add Osmocote to the planting holes of my perennials to give them a boost to transition to their permanent homes in my flower beds. The measuring is easy, the fertilizer works well, and there is no mess or smell. I consider Osmocote a gardening must have!

This is my absolute favorite plant food! I have been using it for all my indoor house plants for about four years, and they look amazing. My spider plants have the most wonderful extensions of babies. The schefflera's color and growth have been fantastic. I sprinkle some granules in when planting annuals, and it gives them a boost for a good start. Osmocote has provided samples for our Garden Club's annual plant sale. I have heard wonderful comments regarding this product from many people. HIghly recommended!!!

Osmocote is a great product. Over the years, I have used both on indoor and outdoor container plants. What I like is it is released slowly. My plants and I are very happy with Osmocote and the great results we get with this fertilizer.

I grow off and sell Japanese Maples and pollinator plants. I also mix it in with the soil when I am planting seeds. I like the convenience of fertilizing once a season with a slow release fertilizer and also it not washing out with regular watering of pots. Osmocote is especially beneficial to Japanese Maples as they do not like fast fertilizers. This a cost effective method of fertilization for me and the plants love it.
