Planting flowers

I’m trying to do a whole community of swapping seeds this summer and plants.. I’m wanting to know what kind of flowers you can transfer (if any) or what plants and flowers can be planted at this time if any
I’m getting a late start but it is because of my mother just passing. I know this will help keep me from thinking about her so much
I have squash, cucumbers, cantaloupe and peppers. I have some flowers, Rose’s, hydrangeas, lilies and some more like shrubs and rose of Shearon tree
What will come up if I plant it now? Thanks for any suggestions on the things a newly just started out person needs to do to get all of this going. And do you have any seeds or bulb samples that I could try. I will keep you all up to date on EVERYTHING….. THANKS A BUNCH, BRANDY

Marianne's Response

First so sorry at the loss of your mother. Gardening is grief therapy for many people so I know a new gardening project can help with healing. Working with other people will help as well so I suggest you contact a local gardening club or Master Gardener group to get started. Your climate will determine what plants and seeds you can plant now and local garden centers and nurseries will be the best source of advice.  Don't give up. Keep asking until you connect with the garden community in your area. I wish I could be of more help but in your case reaching out to locals is the logical answer to this question. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
